 CPR/AED Training Class – June 2019

Rabbi’s Message

Summer is traditionally a time for sitting back and taking a break. However, at BRJC, it is also a time for learning new things. This is why we created our “Summer School for Adults” program.

Our first class, an adult-level Hebrew class, is off to a great start. Adults are learning how to decode and read Hebrew words found in the Torah and the Siddur.

Next class – Sunday July 28th @10:30 am

Our second class is based on the book “Be Still and Get Going: A Jewish Meditation Practice for Real Life,” by my friend and colleague Alan Lew. In this class we will learn practical meditative practices that will help us find inner peace and tranquility, as well as how we can implement them into our daily lives. Drawing from tradition Jewish sources, Alan shows us that meditation can be an important and relevant spiritual practice. Join us as we go down this exciting spiritual path together. You’ll be glad you did.

Next class Sunday July 28th @ 1130 am. Cost of the book is the only cost for the class.

Please call the office to enroll @ 718-836-3103

Peace,

Rabbi Bob
